About:

The scheme was introduced in the year 2019-20 for improving key infrastructure in religious places. The whole scheme is divided into four components – 

(i) Annuity grant to Devalayas, 

(ii) Improving basic infrastructure of places of natural beauty and historical significance, 

(iii) Improving key infrastructure in religious places 

(iv) Improved connectivity for visitors. Out of the four components, the 3^rd component i.e. improving key infrastructure in religious places is being implemented by T&D Department.
