Before 6th December 2019, all the works under different schemes/projects were executed and supervised under the control of (Old name) Office of the Executive Engineer,PWD Sivasagar State Roads Division ,Nazira with the assist of Two Sub-Divisions under this Division named as Sivasagar State Road Sub-Division and Nazira State Road Sub-Division. To smooth functioning of all Schemes/Projects (Central or State) a committee was formed with the members of Superintending Engineer of Jorhat Road Circle, Executive Engineer,Asstt. Executive Engineers, Assistant Engineers and Junior Engineers. But from 6th December 2019 this Division is renamed as Office of Executive Engineer,PWRD , Nazira & Amguri Territorial Road Division,Nazira vide Govt Order No RBEB.116/2019/Pt-1/32 dt 06/11/2019 to supervise the works under Nazira & Amguri LAC and presently all the works under the jurisdiction of this new renamed Division is decentralised by 2(two) nos of Sub Divisions such as Nazira Territorial Road Sub-Division, Nazira and Amguri Territorial Road Sub-Division, Amguri. In this regard it is to be mentioned that at present this Division fall under the jurisdiction of the Office of the Superintending Engineer, PWRD Charaideo & Sibsagar Road Circle, Sivasagar which is newly established in Sivasagar near Sivasagar Tank Side.
