Namdang Sila Saku
Namdang Sila Saku is a bridge cut out from a single solid rock over the Namdang River. It was constructed by workmen brought from the Bengal during the reign of Swargadeo Rudra Singha in 1703. It is a strong bridgeof 60 mtrs in length and 6.5 mtrs in breadth. It has six culverts. Bearing thousands of traffic as the Assam Trunk Road (NH37) passes over this bridge is certainly a wonder of engineering technology of that period.
